Avoid These Traps
- Too many metrics. Stick to 3 numbers max. Your brain can't handle more.
- No clear ask. If your snapshot ends without a decision, it's just noise.
- Fancy charts. A pie chart with 12 slices is a mess. Use a simple bar or line.
- Skipping the story. Data without context is just numbers. Add one line of "why this matters."
- Doing it alone. Share the ritual with your team. One person can't carry the whole load.
