Course content
Module 1
Mission 1: Activation Definition
Problem: Definitions drift across teams; Priya must define activation as one action and one time window.
Outcome: Activation definition card (event + window + steps)
Mission 2: Event Taxonomy
Problem: The same action is tracked three different ways; Priya needs a minimal event taxonomy the team follows.
Outcome: Event taxonomy (5 key events + required properties)
Mission 3: North Star & Guardrails
Problem: The team optimizes the wrong thing; Priya must choose a North Star and guardrails to keep decisions safe.
Outcome: Metrics charter (North Star + 2 guardrails + definition)
Module 2
Mission 4: Segment Snapshot
Problem: The dashboard is too aggregated; Priya needs one segment cut that reveals where activation breaks.
Outcome: Segment funnel snapshot (1 segment, 1 step diagnosis)
Mission 5: Retention Reading
Problem: Retention looks worse but timing is unclear; Priya must read cohorts correctly and avoid false alarms.
Outcome: Cohort reading checklist + interpretation memo
Mission 6: Adoption vs. Usage
Problem: Feature success is unclear; Priya must separate one-time adoption from repeat usage and pick the right fix.
Outcome: Adoption vs usage card (definition + thresholds)
Module 3
Mission 7: Opportunity Sizing
Problem: Too many ideas compete; Priya must pick one lever with a simple opportunity sizing estimate.
Outcome: Opportunity sizing card (lift × volume × window)
Mission 8: Experiment Brief
Problem: Experiments are inconsistent; Priya needs a standard brief so the team learns and decides each week.
Outcome: Experiment brief (hypothesis + metrics + window)
Mission 9: Weekly Metrics Review
Problem: Dashboards don’t produce decisions; Priya must define a weekly review cadence with one decision and ownership.
Outcome: Weekly product metrics review agenda
