Who This Helps
This is for founders who feel stuck in creative debates. The Channel Basics: Offers & Creative course helps you move from vague ideas to clear, testable angles. You'll stop talking and start testing.
Mini Case
Sofia's team spent two weeks debating ad copy. They finally picked one angle, launched, and saw a 2% click-through rate. The next week, they tested a different angle from their list and hit 8%. One clear choice saved them 14 days and 6x their results.
Do This Now (5 Steps)
- Grab your last three marketing ideas or debates.
- For each, write the one-line promise. (Use the Offer Diagnosis mission from the course).
- Next to each, write the single audience it's for. Be brutally specific.
- Score each idea 1-5 on: Clarity of promise, Audience fit, Ease to test.
- The idea with the highest total score is your next experiment. The others go in a parking lot. Done.
Avoid These Traps
- Don't try to make one idea work for everyone. A strong offer speaks to one audience first.
- Don't skip writing the one-liner. Vague promises lead to vague results.
- Don't mix tests. Your landing page, audience, and creative angle must align for a clean read.
- Don't ignore the 'ease to test' score. If it takes a month to build, it's not your next move.
- Don't let the 'shiny new idea' derail your parked list. Finish your first test cycle.
- Don't forget to set a guardrail metric. Know what 'bad' looks like so you can stop fast.
- Don't debate without a timer. Give each angle 5 minutes, then score.
- Don't seek perfection. A good test now beats a perfect plan never launched. Your future self will thank you.
Your Win by Friday
By Friday, you'll have one live creative test, not three more meetings about possibilities. You'll know exactly what you're learning and which metric tells you if it's working. That's how you build momentum—one clear decision at a time. Let's get that win.
