- Write down your top three product questions. What do you need to know today? Keep them short and specific.
- Pick one question that feels most urgent. Ask yourself: if I answer this, what changes? That's your candidate.

Avoid These Traps
- Don't pick an experiment because it's easy. Easy rarely moves the needle. Go for the one that changes behavior.
- Don't use vague definitions. "User engagement" means nothing. Use the event taxonomy from the course: 5 key events with required properties.
- Don't skip the guardrails. Without a North Star and two guardrails, you might optimize for the wrong thing. The course shows you how to set them.
